Update on Jason - our niece's DH...

First let me say Thank You for the comments and the prayers. If you missed my first post, you can read it HERE.

Things didn't go so well at Tulane in New Orleans. They never even got the arteriogram done, and Jason had a lot of waiting for nothing. Plus the doctor there had only performed one of these surgeries, and he himself didn't feel comfortable doing it.

So that little flag went up that said, "Let's go home!"
As soon as they got home, they had a call from the dr. at Stanford in CA.

He had done hundreds of these surgeries, and he told them from looking at Jason's tests, that he had 2 strokes instead of one.

Arrangements have been made for them to fly out there by July 12th. The first surgery will be on July 19th followed by a 2nd surgery on July 26th.

Please keep them in your prayers. They will have to leave their 4 yr. old son, Kayl, at home with relatives and friends. He's never been away from them for that long. It will be several weeks before Jason can come home.

Some other family members will also be flying at different times.
Our family appreciates every prayer that is said for them!!

Thank you for the update. Thank the Lord for this second surgeon who seems to be the right Dr. for Jason. I will remember each of you in prayer. May God bless.

So sorry to hear that things did not go well for Jason at Tulane. I hope that he finds a more competent medical team in the area that he needs at Stanford.

Best,
Bonnie

God is able my friend. All this might seem really super big to you and your family but it isn't to Him. I know that Jason is in the palm of the Almighty's Hand. I'm praying for Jason's complete healing this very moment.

Love to you~

Thank you for the update. I am also thanking God for those little flags....I am glad they listened to that little flag and came home for the news of someone with more knowledge that will help them. God's hand is there guiding us, if only we will listen and watch for those little flags.
