Some In The Hoop Projects....

I love doing In The Hoop projects on my embroidery machine. I think it is because they are usually pretty quick and easy.
It's sort of an instant gratification seeing a project done so quickly.
I like making felties designs for hair clippies. They are very easy, but I like to do the ones that only have 2 or 3 color changes.
These little flip flops and bunnies were made for a teacher friend of mine for her reward store in her classroom.
The next ones are some felt lips and mustaches that were used for some Valentine favors. You punch a hole in the middle to stick a Dum-Dum sucker inside, and they are so funny on the kids.
This is a modeled picture of my grandson!
Next are some things I made for Shelby's doll for her birthday. I used an ITH Apron design from Genniewren Designs. She makes great doll clothes patterns, and I went a little further with this one and used it for an outfit by making a front and a back, and tying them together. The design includes the little pocket, and the kitchen designs that fit the pocket. I added the bird on the bottom apron.

This is one of the generic dolls Shelby let me borrow for a model. I made her some bloomers to wear under her aprons.
These aprons were sooooo easy to make! You can use scraps of all kinds. I made the front and back insides all different. I think she will have fun with all of these!

Thanks for looking! Comments are welcome!

I love the "in-the hoop" projects too. The dresses for the doll are just adorable too. Great fabrics!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

You sure have been busy. Those in the hoop projects are so cute and what a nice idea to help out a teacher supply her store.

You come up with some of the BEST ideas for your grandkidlets, Shirley!! Love that shot of Cayden, "wearing" his mustache. LOL

Great job on the apron outfits, too...very creative use of Genine's pattern.
