Some of you may remember 4 years ago when I posted that one of my former 5th grade students had been killed by a registered child molester.
If not, you can read about it here. However, most of this article also retells the story. It was a horrible, tragic event in the community where I taught school.
This is the recent article. Click HERE.
This is the picture at the top of the article. It is well worth your time to read this. It's an amazing story about the jury that convicted Justin's killer. His mom is the pretty blond lady in the middle.
Please share this with people you know that have young children. Kids are so gullible and so trusting, and it's such a shame that we have to force them to live in fear to survive in the world these days.
This blog is about my life from the time I had tongue cancer surgery until the present. I love to sew and embroider so I will be adding more topics about my favorite things. If you want to read about my tongue cancer surgery and recovery, click on Archives 2008.

Flag on a Stick Giveaway Winner!
I must say the Flag on a Stick blog hop was so much fun! I really enjoyed seeing all of the creative and beautiful flags. I don't know if I could pick a favorite if I had to do so.
Thanks to everyone that took the time to stop by and comment. It means a lot to me!
I printed out the list, and crossed out the extra comments as I counted each person one time. Random number generator picked No. 35 out of 55 entries.
Soooooooooo the winner is.........................
Celynn of Celynn's Sunflower Patch.
Congratulations Celynn! I will be sending you an email to get your mailing address!
Thanks again to everyone! I hope you will come back and visit!

FLAGS ON A STICK - Day 7!
Only two more days to see more beautiful flags waving!
I am sorry I have been out of touch. I had to go out of town overnight, and now for some reason, I can't comment on any of the blogs.
If anyone knows why, please let me know. I've checked my settings, and I cannot figure it out.
I'm way behind on replying, but I'm trying to catch up!
Have fun viewing all of the neat flags in this hop!
